About

I am a Biomedical Engineering graduate from the University of Colorado Boulder with a minor in Business. My background spans the full spectrum of medtech — from building surgical planning models in precision manufacturing, to training patients on implantable devices, to designing EPA-compliant sensor systems from scratch.

What drives me is the directness of the work. In medtech, the gap between what an engineer designs and how a patient's life changes is remarkably small. Whether I am in an operating room ensuring a surgical guide lands correctly, or reviewing quality data to catch a nonconformance before it ships, the stakes are real and the impact is visible.

I am actively seeking full-time roles in quality engineering, patient specific instrumentation, clinical specialist, R&D, or field clinical engineering. Open to relocation anywhere in the United States.

Experience

3D Systems
2024 — 2025
BioCAD Technician
Built patient-specific surgical planning models from medical imaging data to surgical-grade accuracy standards in a regulated medical manufacturing environment. Processed 20+ composite anatomical models and 10+ segmentation models per week. Proactively identified and escalated a critical dimensional discrepancy that had cleared senior review, preventing a defective model from reaching a clinical team. Collaborated directly with surgical planning teams on case-specific requirements.

CU Medicine Internal Medicine
2023 — 2024
Clinical Medical Assistant
Provided direct patient care in a high-volume internal medicine practice serving 30+ patients daily. Applied EKG systems and Zio cardiac monitoring patches, developing hands-on clinical familiarity with cardiac signal acquisition and device performance in real-world clinical settings. Managed multiple concurrent patient responsibilities under time pressure with precision and composure.

2023 — 2024
Medical Device Trainer
Served as the primary trainer for 50+ patients on continuous glucose monitoring devices from four manufacturers — Medtronic, Dexcom, Abbott, and Tandem. Developed structured adaptive training frameworks that standardized common failure points into the initial session, reducing repeat troubleshooting calls. Built deep cross-platform device expertise spanning the full CGM landscape.

2022 — Present
Clinical Operations & Device Coordinator
Managed medical device protocols, training, and coordination across four senior residential care facilities serving 60+ residents. Trained caregiving staff and residents' families on device operation, coordinated with visiting nurses on clinical protocols, and served as the primary contact for device-related issues across all sites. Performed catheter insertion and management under nurse supervision.
